Circle Cranio is a women-founded school of Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy in the UK. We offer introductory courses, a 2 year practitioner diploma course and post graduate courses. We also run a teaching clinic for our students in the 2nd year of training.
We are open to all. We receive applications from all genders and age groups. Many are from existing practitioners wishing to add to or change from their existing modality. We also receive applications from those with no previous experience as a therapist.
As laid down by Craniosacral Therapy Association, a foundation in Anatomy and Physiology is required - minimum 80 hours covering all body systems. For those who do not meet this criteria, It is possible to take an A&P course concurrently with the practitioner training - we ask that it is completed by the end of your first year. - If you are unsure about this please be in touch, we are happy to advise you.

You will need to have completed at least 80 hours of Anatomy & Physiology covering all main systems of the body. Certificates for these need to be included with your application form.
If you do not meet this requirement, you may take an A & P course concurrently with year 1 of the practitioner training. Please contact us for further details on courses we recommend.
On receipt of application form and admin fee, you will be invited for interview. Interviews usually take place over Video Conferencing Platform ( Zoom) with one of the School Directors. The interview is designed so we can get to know you a little better, discuss your application, provide full details of the training and to give you an opportunity to ask any questions.
We will notify you, within 7 days of interview, to let you know if you have been offered a place on the training.
If you wish to accept your offer, you need to do so in writing. A deposit of £600 secures your place on the course.
It is highly recommended that you attend one of our introductory days or our introductory online sessions.
The in person intro days are designed to give you a flavour of how we work here at Circle. It will give you a feel of us as a team and of the venue as a learning space. It is also a great way to meet other prospective students.
Introductory Day fees are deducted from main course fees if participant subsequently enrols on the 2 year Practitioner Training Course.
Circle Cranio has been granted Full Accreditation Status by the Craniosacral Therapy Association (UK) - this means both our students and graduates are eligible to apply for membership.
The CSTA is the only governing body for our profession in the UK and is also a registered charity. They uphold strict Codes of Ethics and Standards of Practice to ensure the highest levels of professionalism and safety. Members are entitled to use the initials RSCT once registered.
The accreditation process for schools is thorough and rigorous, requiring institutions to meet and maintain high standards in teaching, curriculum, and practice. This ensures that accredited schools provide quality training, and it serves as a mark of trust and professionalism and we at Circle wholeheartedly welcome this.
Schools without CSTA accreditation may not meet these high professional standards—if a school isn’t accredited, it’s important to question why.
Approximately 6 hours per week which includes hands on practice, write ups of practice sessions, some drawing and reading.
An initial non-refundable deposit of £600 is required to secure your place on the course.

Please Note: acceptance of a place on the course is a commitment to the full tuition fee. All payments including instalment payments during the training period are non-refundable.
In order to graduate, students need to complete all the homestudy criteria. There is ongoing monitoring and tutor support for students throughout the training, with written feedback for homestudy. Students are required to undertake a case history project in their second year and there will be both practical and written assessments towards the end of the training. There are also mandatory sessions at the teaching clinic during your second year.

The 2 year practitioner training is an in person training - due to the intrinsic nature of craniosacral therapy we do not offer the practitioner training online . All students need to be in attendance for seminar 1 - we do not have a late start policy for this course.
We do, however, offer a free online introductory morning. This is for people with little or no experience of BCST who are interested in finding out more about the work and the training. These are small interactive group sessions and places are limited to a maximum of 6. Please email circlecranio@gmail.com for further info.
